Its Fall

I took these pictures a week ago just outside my doorstep, and as it plainly shows, Fall is definitely here.

I might be more of an indoor person, but even I have to admit that the colors of leaves turning such a vibrant red/brown is breathtaking. Mother Nature way of welcoming in Father Frost.

Weekend Guilty Pleasure

I really should not have indulged but I had a craving this weekend and ordered Dim Sum to go. Mostly cos its weird eating Dim Sum alone in a restaurant. But I have to say that it really hit the spot.

OMG!

OMG! OMG! OMG!

I know the Star Trek scene has been more than lack luster in the past 10 years, but this cover of Entertainment Weekly sends shivers down my spine. (in a good way)

There may just be hope for the Federation yet.

Fall is here

A week ago (27th Sep) the temperature was a balmy 78 degrees Fahrenheit (26 C) but on Sunday as I was at the Minneapolis airport, the temperature was 55 degrees Fahrenheit (13 C). And there's even a frost warning in the forecast for Pittsburgh tomorrow morning, temperature are expected to be about 35 degrees Fahrenheit (3 C) in the early morning but warming up to 60's as the sun warms up.

Its official, fall is here and summer is over. If you like looking at the leaves as they turn color, it will happen in the next 2-3 weeks.

On a personal note, my contract got extended till the end of the year which is excellent news for me. The worst time to be without a client is the end of the year since no one hires or starts new projects at the end of the year. Also, with the economy they way it is now, (the dow dropped below 10,000 today) the longer I can stay employed, the better.

On the gaming front, I spent the month of September leveling my final 3 characters in world of Warcraft. SO now I have 6 level 60 characters.

Now I'm spending some time playing Warhammer Online.
